Fascias and soffits take the brunt of the weather, so timber ones tend to rot, crack or start peeling paint after years of damp getting in. I replace them with uPVC that doesn’t need painting or treating, fitted properly with the right ventilation behind the soffit so the roof space can breathe. Where the boards are still sound I’ll repair rather than replace, so you’re not paying for work you don’t need.

I’ll take a look first, tell you honestly whether it’s a repair or a full replacement, and match the finish to the rest of the house. Guttering usually comes down and goes back up as part of the same job, so everything lines up and there’s no separate call-out needed.
